Autumnal Ode to the Light.
Chianti, this small fascinating area of Italy, holding the Quintessence of the worldly well-known Tuscany, is probably one of the most beautiful places in the World. And therefore, one of the most interesting areas for photographers -travel photographers as well as landscape photographers.
The Light playing over, behind or in-between the several layers of hills, offers games of endless combinations of frames and moods. And this, the whole year during! Indeed, the well distinct seasons give some really different possibilities and photography perspectives in terms of Light, colours and atmospheres. As a photographer, you would never get bored in Chianti.
However, Autumn is maybe the most poetic season of all and the pannel of colours that it offers renders it absolutely magical. The trees and wine fields are tinged with russet red and gold, carmine red and brown, while some scattered lasting green leaves hold on strong before the Fall. The Light starts to get more oblic and subtil whereas the frequent rains bring humidity in the air that transforms itself in some totally mesmerising, mystic mists. If all the year round is good for a Chianti landscape photography, autumn once more, is undoubtedly the richest period to do so. The delicate colours of the hills complete the artistic and harmonious organisation of the landscape which let Nature be the entire protagonist.
If you were not photographer, you’d wish to be painter in front of such landscapes. And if you were not landscape photographer, you’d wish to be travel photographer. Because Chianti photos are sincerely some of the best you can add on a travel photography portfolio of the World.
