Bali, the hedonists and aesthetes’ Paradise.

An island with such a powerful attraction and energy!
An extraordinary luxuriant tropical nature, volcanos and mountains areas, coasts of black or white sandy beaches, a fascinating culture and handicraft infused in every place or object you come across with.
A natural and spiritual land, a traditional and artistic culture.
Bali has that absolute balance between the beauty of its Nature and the beauty of the Human creations.

The island has everything : the Smell, the Sound, the Look, the Touch and the Taste of Paradise.
Wherever you go, you are surrounded by Art and Harmony, from the architecture and design to the landscape gardening. Wood and stone carving, plants and water omnipresence, flowers profusion…
An authentic tribute to the inspiring Nature which is so generously flourishing in the island.
Actually, Balinese people give a high importance to Beauty in the daily Life and seem to have that perfect mastery of Composition and Harmony.

A natural face, an artistic hand and a spiritual heart : Bali is a good manifestation of the Art of Living.

A land of Spirits, a Spiritual Land

Indeed, the Gods have been very generous in Bali and the people seem grateful for it, honouring and respecting the Nature and the Spirits of the Land. A peaceful and daily coexistence between the Human World and the Invisible One.
Actually, the day in Bali starts with the offerings to the Gods and Spirits, paying tribute to the good spirits as well as the bad ones, for them to keep the family and house safe. Offering flowers, water and rice as the most precious resources. When they can, every family has its own temple : half of the property is occupied by the house and the other half, by the temple for the Gods and the ancestors. Then, everywhere in the island, you find temples carved in the black volcanic stone just as here and there, some small altars placed on the roads and streets. You also encounter some special trees, believed to be house for the Spirits, wrapped into the chequered black and white fabric called Poleng.

Everything, everywhere, at every time seems to be an homage to the Gods and Spirits. A very fascinating culture that has its own proper singularity. Unlike the rest of Indonesia which is Muslim, the Balinese Culture is a mix of Hinduism and Animism, meaning the Spirits of the Nature and the Elements have a significant importance. People honour the good spirits just as they respect the bad ones in order to help them getting better and preventing them from more bad actions.
The Balinese culture is a delicate balance between the Good and the Bad, the Feminine and the Masculine, the Strong and the Soft, the Water and the Fire…
So we can imagine that in a World where the Spirits are given so much attention, energy and support, they can indeed have a real existence and place. The mystic and the magic are absolutely inherent to the local culture…

The Smell, Look and Taste of Paradise

The first thing you come across with, after the enthralling beauty of Nature, is the smell in the air. The sweet and delicate smell of the abounding frangipani spreading their exquisite fragrance in the air. The bewitching smell of Paradise…
Alongside the frangipani, so much more tropical flowers with magnificent shapes, colors and scents. So much vegetation and trees, Nature and Water flowing everywhere. So much delicious fruits you would never stop eating and fresh coconuts you would never stop drinking.
Nature provides to everything in Bali, definitely fulfilling all your senses.

It is quite logical then, that this singular island attracted the most hedonist, aesthetes and healthy people. During the last decades, it has became a real nest for Yoga and Meditation as well as an ideal place for wellness retreats. Healthy, artistic and natural, Bali became a proper lifestyle!

Therefore, during your travel/retreat/holiday in Bali, the fonts of inspiration are many just as the options for Travel Photography : culture, traditions and cults, arts, architecture, landscape, portraits and street photography. Bali Travel Photography is a high class Travel Photography destination. And such a dream goal for a cultural and magic travel as well as for an exotic, relaxing and revitalising holiday.
